Remedy, the makers of the Max Payne series, just released this cinematic and mysteriously intriguing trailer for their newest release:  Alan Wake.  Here’s an excerpt straight from the official Alan Wake site that sums the game up nicely:

What is alan Wake

Alan Wake, a bestselling writer,
hasn't managed to write anything
in over two years.  Now his wife,
Alice, brings him to the idyllic
small town of Bright Falls to
recover his creative flow.  But
when she vanishes with a trace,
Wake finds himself trapped in a
nightmare.

eyes.

As long as the sketchy “knee graphics” from the trailer get fixed, this game (exclusive to Xbox 360 and Windows Vista) looks to be extremely promising.
