Remedy, the makers of the Max Payne series, just released this cinematic and mysteriously intriguing trailer for their newest release: Alan Wake. Here’s an excerpt straight from the official Alan Wake site that sums the game up nicely:

Now his wife, Alice, brings him to the idyllic small town of Bright Falls to recover his creative flow. But when she vanishes with a trace, Wake finds himself trapped in a nightmare. As long as the sketchy “knee graphics” from the trailer get fixed, this game (exclusive to Xbox 360 and Windows Vista) looks to be extremely promising.
